§ 1-908. Litigation tax.

There is hereby levied a privilege tax on litigation of two dollars ($2.00) in all actions instituted against a defendant in city court upon a finding of guilt, plea of guilty, or submission to fine, including default. The city court clerk shall collect the litigation tax imposed in this section from the defendant in the same manner as court costs, and shall remit the proceeds to the general fund.
