§ 9-415. Passing school buses prohibited.

  • The driver of a vehicle upon any highway, street, roadway, or alley in the city, upon meeting or overtaking from either direction any school bus which has stopped for the purpose of receiving or discharging school children shall stop the vehicle before reaching the bus. The driver of the vehicle shall not proceed until the bus resumes motion or until the driver of the vehicle is signalled by the bus driver to proceed or the visual signals designating loading and unloading for the bus are no longer activated.
