§ 1-1810. Public art trust fund.

  • There city shall establish as a separate account a "Public Art Trust Fund" in which shall be placed all monetary donations accepted by the city from the general public or other entities, public or private, for purposes of establishing and implementing the public art program, and which may include public funds appropriated by the city council for purposes of the public art program, and may further include any funds or grants from the federal, state or other local governments which the city may receive from time to time. The director of the department of finance shall maintain said account separate from the general revenue fund account of the city, and donated funds and/or grants shall be accounted for individually as may be required by general law, grant contract, or in accordance with any donor restrictions, or as directed by the mayor or city council.
