§ 1.5-502. Physical examinations.

a.

Any individual seeking regular full-time employment with the city shall be required to receive a physical examination by a qualified physician, selected by the city, as a condition of employment. The cost of such examination shall be at the city's expense; however, the city shall determine at what point in time the examination is to take place, so that merely applying for city employment will not entitle the applicant to be examined at the expense of the city.

b.

Members of the fire department and police department shall meet such minimum physical standards as are outlined in promulgated regulations of each respective department.
